The Diaspora African Forum (DAF) is a non-profit organization recognized by the African Union, established in 2001 by President J.A. Kufuor. It is the only African Diaspora organization with diplomatic status, allowing advocacy at the highest government levels in Ghana and across Africa.

DAF’s mission focuses on alleviating poverty, strengthening economies in underprivileged African states, and fostering connections between Diaspora and Continental Africans.

In 2024, DAF honored Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois by placing his name on the Sankofa Wall at their Embassy in Accra. They also support Black Americans in connecting and relocating to Africa, with plans to open a U.S. headquarters in Houston.

Energy Projects

We are initiating a small-scale solar park project in Guinea, funded through climate compensation resources. This project will be managed by Aicha Niambele and serves as a practical exercise for us to learn the entire process—from identifying a project to applying for climate compensation funding. It is part of our workshop series for members, showcasing examples of small-scale projects.

Ghana, Tamale, waste and Waterproject

We, together with ASERD-GHANA , are planning a full-scale waste and water treatment facility. An MOU has been signed between us, and we are now starting the work of securing funding for feasibility studies, study trips, and more. Feel free to follow us on our channels!

♻️ Strategic Partnership with Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

NxES Africa COOP has entered into a formal agreement with KCCA to lead a comprehensive feasibility study for a modern, circular waste management system in Kampala. The project targets 1,300–1,500 tons/day of unsorted municipal waste and integrates waste separation, biogas, composting, and material recovery.

For Investors
KCCA has officially prioritized this project as Kampala’s flagship waste and energy solution. With a minimum energy potential of 40 MW and strong carbon credit prospects, it meets all Gold Standard criteria and qualifies for major climate finance mechanisms. The partnership ensures regulatory alignment, scalability, and high-impact returns.
